Religion 6 Update, Nov 9, 2016

Students were assigned an Advent project today.  Yes, Advent is right around the corner :-). 

 

They will make a three dimensional ornament that is based on a person or event in biblical history that was assigned to them today.  The ornament can be made of any material as long as it is three dimensional and it can be secured to the tree.  The ornament is a symbol, not a direct creation of the person or event.  Students will also write a paragraph that describes the symbol and what it means. For example, if the student was assigned Noah and the ark, the ornament could be an ornament with a rainbow, representing how God would never leaves us. In the paragraph, students should creatively interpret and explain the symbol. 

 

Due date is Tuesday, November 22^nd. 

 

This will be a quiz grade.
