Religion 6: Finish Unit 1 Cover Page in Portfolio. Get all tabs for the Religion Portfolio.
Science 6: Finish Methods of Science Cover Page in Portfolio. Sign the Science/Religion Contract and return tomorrow (for those students and parents who had not already provided it).
Science 7: Title the covered book with Life Science, students name, and decorate the cover with colored pencil, markers, etc.
Science 8: For the Thursday split class, student and parent sign the Science/Religion Contract and return tomorrow.
Students were assigned a project today -- due next Thursday, Sept 7th. They will choose one occupation in the physical science field and complete a matrix (format provided in class) describing key facts, illustration and other areas. Students should see the web site "Science Buddies" (key word occupation) . http://www.sciencebuddies.org/science-engineering-careers#earthphysicalsciences. They can use the paper matrix provided or build a chart that looks identical to the format provided.
Tomorrow's Split class must turn in the project by Friday Sept 8th.
